Add a secretive and fascinating catfish to your freshwater aquarium with a Ninja Woodcat. This shy woodcat is an engaging choice for aquarists who enjoy observing fish that spend much of the day tucked into shelter and become more active in subdued light.

Provide an established, heated freshwater aquarium with dependable filtration, good oxygenation, and stable water conditions. Include driftwood, smooth caves, and shaded crevices where the fish can rest securely. Arrange shelters so the fish can enter and leave without becoming trapped.

Expect a reserved daytime presence rather than a constantly visible display fish. Plants and subdued lighting can help it feel secure. Avoid repeatedly disturbing its hiding place, and maintain water quality with regular water changes.

Offer appropriately sized sinking carnivore foods and suitable frozen or live foods, such as bloodworms and brine shrimp.
