Hygrophila pinnitafita

Bring texture and contrast to your planted aquarium with Hygrophila pinnatifida. This distinctive freshwater plant is known for its deeply lobed leaves and earthy green to reddish-brown tones. Its fern-like appearance makes it a striking accent among broader-leaved plants and bright green carpeting species.

Use it in the midground or attach it to driftwood or rock for a natural aquascape. Regular trimming helps encourage branching and keeps growth compact.

• Placement: Midground or attached to hardscape
• Lighting: Moderate to high
• CO₂: Beneficial for stronger growth and more compact form
• Care: Provide consistent nutrients and stable aquarium conditions
• Propagation: Side shoots and stem cuttings

Leaf color and growth shape vary with lighting, nutrients, and growing conditions. Like many aquarium plants, it may shed some older leaves while adapting to submerged growth.
